After a conversation with my neurodivergent son, who struggles to find a place—let alone success, in a world that was not designed for him, I decided to pivot and show him that there were ways to succeed in life outside of traditional routes.

Throughout my career, I had always heard things like, you have an amazing voice; you should be on the radio; I’d buy anything you're selling just to hear you keep talking; and can you just follow me around and narrate my life? To be honest, it was a little difficult not to let so much praise go to my head sometimes. Additionally, during training huddles or meetings, I was tapped to cold-read materials to increase employee engagement

With these thoughts in mind, I set a course to discover how I could use my gift in an untraditional way and show my son that anything is possible. I immersed myself in the world of voiceover. I researched, a lot. I sought training from industry leaders. And, I committed any and all free time to advance my craft.
