Getting started on Voices is easy! Before creating an account you should make sure you have a few things in place:

- An idea of what you’re looking to get out of Voices - determine if this is a side hustle or a full time career. Figure out how you want to position yourself and what you’re capable of taking on.

Another helpful way to turn Voices into your full time job is to keep an eye on the community forum. You can learn so much from your peers and how they have done it. You can create an even more passive stream of income by posting on our Project Marketplace. Post a project listing once and have clients come to you over and over again.
You can spend as much or as little time as you’re able to. Some people put in full-time hours or more; some people are using Voices as a side hustle or something part-time. It’s up to you, but keep in mind that as with most things, what you put into it is what you’ll get back.
A Guest membership is free and gives you the ability to create a profile, upload demos/portfolio samples, and get privately invited to jobs. Upgrading to a Premium membership allows your profile to be automatically matched with jobs that you can audition for. You will also have the ability to post your project listings on the Project Marketplace.
A Platinum membership will provide all the benefits of Premium plus it will allow you to get noticed more by appearing at the top of our search results and you will have a dedicated Account Manager to assist you in your career as a voice actor.

The first step is to sign up for free to create an account. From there, you create your profile, add your relevant services/skills, and upload demos/portfolio samples. This will allow you to be found in search by clients and privately invited to jobs.
To have job opportunities matched with your profile and to post project listings on the Project Marketplace, a Premium membership is required. More information on the membership levels can be found here.

At Voices we want to see you succeed. We have many ways for you to get invited to jobs, have your projects purchased and make money.
With a free account, you can receive private invitations based off of your profile. Set your profile up with demos and portfolio samples so that clients can discover you from the talent search pages.
To audition for jobs, you will require a Premium or Platinum membership. Our JobMatch algorithm will notify you of jobs that match your skills and you will be invited to audition. If the client likes what they hear, they will send you a job agreement and you’ll be invited to begin working on the project.

Voices has your back when it comes to payment. We require client payments upfront, prior to the work being completed. That payment is held in SurePayTM, our payment protection service. This protects both parties by ensuring payment is not released until everyone is satisfied.
The client can release the funds as soon as the project is completed but if they forget, we will automatically release the funds 14 after the completion date. Learn more about our SurePay™ system here.
Make sure you have PayPal properly set up in your Account Settings to ensure you get paid in a timely way.
